The UTS Institute of Public Policy and Governance have recently worked on a new initiative to assist public sector organisations to better align their reporting programs and policies to their project delivery expectations. Whether it be from collecting data for reporting outcomes or leveraging evaluation methods as a tool for program management and development, achieving alignment with government priorities, the public and citizens is essential for managing performance, conduct and governance. Drawing on case studies and findings, Roberta will explore:

  • How to better strategically align your organisation’s values and priorities with program delivery to manage public expectations
  • How better integration and alignment can support effective governance and risk-based decision making
  • Where aligning KPIs, program and policy level is a similar process to people – Influencing the value staff have with their roles and responsibilities
